Biodiversity Loss may “Accelerate Ecosystem Destabilisation”

New results raise concern over the alarming effects of biodiversity loss

New research published in Science has revealed a strong link between a wide variety of species and ecosystem stability.

The data, which was collected over 60 years, also suggests that biodiversity loss can prevent ecosystem recovery after a disturbance.

"...species diversity leads to ecosystem stability..."

This research is becoming increasingly important due to the current biodiversity crisis in ecosystems around the world.

It gives further evidence of how dangerous biodiversity loss could be, including on the skin.
