How Much Carbon Dioxide is in the Atmosphere?

It may be a figure different to what people think

The Earth’s atmosphere is 0.04% Carbon Dioxide.

"...global average atmospheric carbon dioxide was 417.06 parts per million..."

Despite global warming being a hot current topic, this number is often not well advertised.

I certainly got the question wrong when asked by my Dad!

But This is a Skin Microbiome Blog?

I will be doing a series of blogs on the topic of “Complex Systems” using my Planetary GeoPhysics Masters Degree to describe how all systems such as the climate are linked.

It shows how understanding physics is key to researching ecosystems such as the microbiome.
