Is Exposure to the Sun Good for You?

UV exposure has been linked to an array of health benefits

New research by the University of Edinburgh found that more UV exposure is linked to a longer lifespan and disease prevention.

Using data from 300,000 people, this study was significant because it is the largest of its kind.

"...increased UV exposure appears to make people..."

"...significantly less likely to die from cardiovascular disease as well as cancer."

They also found that the risk of dying from melanoma skin cancer “did not meaningfully change with UV exposure”.

Therefore, should we stop our extreme sun-phobia in the western world?
